Today is the first day of summer. I had quite an agenda in May - till the garden, build the msot amazing chicken coop, plant an amazing garden, pot some amazing plants, relax and enjoy the babies. So far, we've managed to plant a modest garden without the benefit of tilling it because we've been far too busy building our almost finished chicken coop that will be so amazing some day soon. My potted plants are pretty nice, but I still need more. I can't really enjoy them because the patio isn't cleaned up from the chicken coop buiding process. Ok - I'm really quite pleased with what we've been able to accomplish in June. All is good.
I have enjoyed my babies. Yesterday, Cassie turned 1 Year Old! and Jackson is 6 months old. I can hardly believe how quickly they've grown into best buddies, and they have brought me such great joy during this past year. I hope they'll always know how much Grandma Nay loves them and I hope their time with me has been as good for them as it has been for me. No day care on earth can give real grandma love, but I just pray that they will be safe and healthy and loved in their new experience and will thrive as well as they have in these past months with me. Thank you, thank you Ben and Amy and Rebekah and Victor for entrusting your beautiful children to my care.

You're right-no daycare can give grandma loves, especially gramma nay loves. THANK YOU for taking care of our babies. JW thinks you are the best things since strained squash. We love you!
Did you make her her very own cake? Looks like she loved it.
