You Must Be Thinking of Someone Else!

Just as I became complacent in thinking that I was in the perfect "calling", someone thinks he needs to move my cheese! I thought Gerardo loved me and wanted me to live a long, happy life! Wrong! We want you to be the Relief Society President! "No, NO..... @#$% NO!! What are you thinking?" I told him I needed to go home and think about it, do some personal house keeping, so to speak. I had a fitful night dreaming about how to reorganize the visiting teaching districts, planning the RS birthday party, choosing counselors, filling out welfare orders. I thought I had done my part serving as Enrichment counselor for 6 years! Wasn't that long enough? Doesn't someone else need the blessing? Needless to say, after much soul searching and serious repenting, I accepted the call, chose some wonderful counselors, and we're on our way. Now, if I could just borrow that damned spread sheet of Becky's, I could get the visiting teaching whipped into shape!

What the.......stone?

Geez, it would stink to be a man! Could you imagine trying to give birth through your "you know what"? Well, seems my man thought he was! Oh, the indignities! Oh, the inhumanity! He had a kidney stone about the size of a pea (1 c.m.) which was trying to come through the "tube" but blocked the tube off instead. The doctor had to put in a stint (small tube that looked like rigid electrical wire about 15" long with hoops on each end). Yep, you guessed it - up through "there", pushing the stone back up into the kidney. Once we knew the kidney was working again (one week later), the doctor went in and blasted it with a laser and took the larger pieces out. About three days later, the stint was removed. Oh, my heck! Randy was brave boy and is feeling much better now!

My Baby and Me!

What is his name? Randy Smith Hunter

How long have you been married? It will be 16 years on June 6!

How long did you date? 3+ years

How old is he? He'll be 60 in August!

Who eats more? Probably him - I forget to eat but you'd never know it looking at me!

Who kissed who first? He kissed me first - after the limo dropped us off

Who said "I Love You" first? Probably me.... we were both scared to say the words.

Who is smarter? He is for sure.

Who is taller? He is

Who sings better? Probably me, but he's getting better all the time, and he always knows the words to all the songs.

Whose temper is worse? Probably me again..... he holds it in - just hope he never really gets riled!

Who is more sensitive? I cry easier, but I think he's probably very tender hearted about a lot of things.

Who does the laundry? I do most of the time, but he pitches in. He won't let me touch his fleecies.

Who does the dishes? I do most of the time, but he does load the dishwashwer if it gets out of control.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I sleep to his right.

Who pays the bills? I pay some, he pays some.

Who cooks dinner? He does most of the time. I cook when I'm in the mood and the kitchen is clean!
Who drives when you are together? He does 99% of the time.

Who is more stubborn? That's a toughy. Probalby me, but he does have a stubborn streak.

Who proposed? It was a proposal to merge our families one day when we were house hunting.
We were looking for a house where he could have his dad live with him, but it looked like we were looking for a house for a family, which is when we decided the merger was a good idea.

Who has more friends? We both have a lot of friends - depends on what circles we're involved with. Everybody is his friend!

Who has more siblings? I have more siblings - 3 bros and a sister. He only has 2 bros.

Who wears the pants in the family? I liked Rache's answer a lot - we each take a leg and walk together.
