Week 3 - Here Chick, Chick, Chick!

Cute little chickies have now grown out of their original home and are now residing in a very larg e container. That henhosue is in its final stages of planning and this afternoon Randy and I will venture out to Lowe's and get some supplies to begin building the very awesome chicken coop.
Della is really the lady with the personality. She has a diva attitude and probably will be 1st in the pecking order. Little Tilly the Hen is still small, but she is getting some nice feathers and growing nicely. I think she's probably a small breed, but she is very sweet. The two Reds, Big Red and Aunt Rhoda, are just about the same size now and are getting feathers almost all over their bodies. They love to bask in the afternoon sunshine, and I'm sure there will be many sunny days ahead for our little brood.
